DATE: 7-August-2008 Windows includes several utilities that will help you find out about your systems configuration, disk usage, and help you diagnose problems with failed devices. Disk Properties System Properties
By clicking on the Hardware tab and then the Device Manager Button you can find out about the devices that are installed on your system. Click on the plus sign to expand each device. If a device is not functioning properly the device will have a red exclamation point next to the device. System Information
Click on Start and Run; type in msinfo32 in the Run’s dialog open text field. System Information displays all types of information about your system including a summary of your systems settings and paths, hardware resources, components, software environment, and Internet settings. |
