DATE: 1-July-2008 I currently access my web site using Window's built-in FTP via My Computer. This method requires you to login each time you open My Computer. I recently found another method that does not require you to login each time you access your web site via FTP. You will have had to establish a FTP connection before using this method. Open My Computer and if you need to click on the Folders button on the Toolbar. Expand My Network Places. Your web sites FTP address should be listed. The technique above only works during the current operating session. You will have to reenter your password when you restart Windows. |
