I got hooked on playing Risk years ago when a much of us guys would meet after work and play strategy board games until the early hours of the morning. Risk is turn based and pits you against other opponents as you try to dominate the world. Each player gets a turn to either build his forces or attack your opponents. As you control more and more territory you gain additional forces. Although the roll of the die dictates your chances against your opponents forces it really is all about attrition and the larger the forces on the offensive the better the chances of success. 1.
