Portable Jarte

I have written about the Jarte desktop version and how it provides an elegant interface for a Rich Text Editor. The portable edition includes all the features as the desktop version. Although there is a Linux text editor with a spell check finding a RTF editor with a thesaurus is rare.

Jarte may not have a file menu, but hover your mouse over the toolbar buttons and you will find all the expected commands and a few surprises. Jarte provides multiple tabs so you can work between documents easily; right click shortcut menus, word count, spell check, zoom, and a slew of other features. Having these features make Jarte one remarkable RTF editor.
