DATE: 12-November-2008 If you use Windows Explorer as much as I do you will appreciate these tips. Sorting your Files and Folders Files and folders can be sorted in a verity of ways in Windows Explorer. Right click and choose Arrange Icons By and Modified; right click a second time and choose Show in Groups and your files and directories will be listed by when they were modified. The files that have been modified most recently being sorted to the top of your Windows Explorer window. Accessing an URL from Explorers Address bar You can access a web page from Windows Explorer by typing an URL into Windows Explorers address bar. Click the enter key. Save those Folder Locations Lastly, you can save the locations of those frequently accessed folders by clicking on Favorites and adding the location of the directory to your favorites. |
