The Invaders 1978 clone was created by James Eibisch, in 1996 about the time I was introduced to the Internet and World Wide Web. Eibisch’s Invaders 1978 is based on the original 1978 version and unfortunately is no longer available from the URL listed in the Read Me file. I remember playing Space Invaders at game arcades and other locations back in the eighties along with other games like Frogger, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Mario Brothers. Playing these games gave me something to do with my friends. Playing these games also provided me to an early introduction to technology.
